I had the pleasure of attending Kristi’s session on the importance of Play within organizations and I left truly inspired. I called our Guardian of People that same evening, and together we outlined a few quick wins to bring more play into our operations. As a cost-conscious organization, large-scale implementations were not an option, but Kristi’s session offered numerous practical ideas. She gifted me a signed copy of her book, which included an excellent appendix full of examples we could easily adapt.

Inspired by Kristi’s approach, we quickly implemented some playful sessions in our workplace, and as CEO, I made sure to model the behaviour and join in the fun.  We learned, laughed, and grew together as a team. The total financial investment was minimal, and the return in connection, engagement, and psychological safety was invaluable.
